ICON's short film "Sever" is a fantasy film about loneliness, romance, and adventure. The story is about a man (Jereme Badger) who is trapped in one dimension which consist of one room. The man doesn't even have a name, he is addressed by a number, #51173. He is watched every minute by some strange beings (Simon Lynx) and he also hears a voice from above who talks to him. 511 sees the world in black and white and feels very lonely, but he dreams of a colorful and an exciting world, and also dreams of a beautiful woman (Natali Ragan). On a very special day for 511, his birthday, he is given a gift. A magical box in which he can see another world and his dream girl is there. Wanting to escape to this world, 511 finds a small hole in the wall and begins to dig as the watchers are not looking. Being warned by the voice not to escape, he eventually does and is pulled into a bright colorful world, with all kinds of shapes, sizes, and sounds. But he only seeks one thing, his dream girl, which he chases until the climax of the film.

The film deals with many issues. Showing two different worlds. One being very dark, sad, dull, silent, and lonely. The other is bright, colorful, loud, plastic, and fake. We as a society have these two sides. Things seem real and feel real but are not. It also deals with loneliness and wanting something or someone so bad you'll go to any lengths to get it. But when you finally get it, it back fires in some way.

A special thanks to all the cast and crew for being a part of this film. We also like to note that Extras Rob Bennett and Zach Short provide the music for the film. Also a very special thanks to Shelby McIntyre who helped out in pre-production and helped out in set design. "Sever" was released in January 2005. Here are some behind the scenes pictures from the movie.
